MELA-D are the new kids on the block, the duo hail from Rockhampton, Australia and have just released a new single ‘State of mind’. We have a little chat with the ladies to chat about their latest release, how they celebrated NAIDOC week,
Tell us about your latest release?
Our latest release is our first song together as “Mela-D “. Our latest release ‘State of Mind’ is about how we are not yet successful, but we plan to be and the only way we can do this is through our state of mind.
It's was NAIDOC last week, how did you celebrate?
We celebrated NAIDOC week with our families by embracing our cultures history and achievements. During NAIDOC week , we love to celebrate it with our community.
What do you want people to take away from your music?
We want people to take away from our music that we are passionate and want our voices to be heard. We believe music is an amazing way to connect and relate to our listeners.
What's next for you both?
We plan on making more music and continuing our journey as young Australian artists.
