Oozing with lush vocals, this project is a follow-up to her single ‘On & On.’ This raw and honest EP combines the soothing sounds of 90’s Neo-Soul music with the emotion-driven messages of R&B, repackaged into a modern but nostalgic sound.

Over a two year course, Aria Bléu bared her soul into writing ‘Familiar Stranger.’ Getting deeply personal, reopening old wounds, and sharing intimate, vulnerable moments of her life, Aria put honesty and transparency at the forefront of her EP. Through this journey, Aria Bléu discovered her sound, her process, and ultimately who she is as an artist.
As a way to symbolise this shift, she changed her name from Kelsea Johnson to Aria Bléu and is re-introducing herself through her debut EP, Familiar Stranger. A title chosen intentionally to deliver a powerful message to her fans—she is not the person you once knew. Although she seems familiar, her constant evolution of self could warrant her a stranger to some.
