Bros Bros Takes Us On A Captivating Journey With His Latest EP
Our favourite Belgian producer Bros Bros returns with his debut EP ‘The Journey’.
Starting with a big bang with ‘Let’s Stroll,’ the Belgian producer chose to introduce himself and his project with an instrumental to fully express himself on his own before inviting talented fellow countrymen to join him on his sonic adventure.
Travelling through time and space, Bros Bros offers a constellation of songs, all stamped with his signature bouncy bassline and a cosmic blend of electronic and urban sounds.
"For me, this EP is a sort of rollercoaster of emotions and helped define myself as a musician, producer and artist. It’s been my main focus for the last 12 months with a lot of ups and downs but I’m very proud the way it sounds and moves. It’s an achievement for myself to produce my own music and work with people I really care about, he insists. It’s a path I’ve been exploring, reflecting on new and old aspects of my life. The start of The Journey, a year ago, was a bit of a ‘reset’. It was a clean sheet, a new chapter — a way to remind everyone that there’s always sunshine after the rain."
Launched in the beginning of 2019, his brand new musical spaceship allowed him to discover the fascinating planets of rappers Darrell Cole and Fred Gata, that he invited on his songs Melodie and For My Money, as well as the exciting newcomer Jon the Gold who can be heard on No More or Oforios, the velvety vocals behind Red Light. During the process, Bros Bros’ strange UFO started to get noticed from various telescopes, and other artists were soon sharing their own desire to climb on board. That is the case of David Jahmill for instance, who breathed a new life into Champion, which was, earlier this year, just an instrumental B-Side accompanying his debut single. "By releasing the instrumentals next to the singles, I got in touch with different artists who wanted to work with me. That’s how Champion became a real track with vocals, alongside a new structure and mix”, Bros Bros reveals, already dreaming of the next chapter…
