Hailing from Sydney, South Sudanese hip hop artist Gabreal returns with a killer highly anticipated EP ‘Afterparty’ produced by Lowgrind.

This is Gabreal’s 5th project and it’s the rawest most personal music he’s made to date. Showcasing vulnerability and acknowledging the differences he’s had to face as a black artist in Australia by pushing powerful and ominous lyrical delivery with a twist.

On the single, Gabreal said “This EP is very special to me, it is something new for me, every song and every feature or production is completely different,’

“Afterparty is music you can ride in your car too, play at your house party with mates or at festivals”.

Channelling the frustrations of the stark, cold realities of everyday life, Gabreal puts a twist on his music with the EP celebrating the weird, the strange and the abnormal. He hopes that his honesty will resonate and unite people’s differences through music.

His lead single ‘On The Beat, True Story’ received rave reviews from tastemakers across the globe, including radio plays from FBi Radio, The Edge with K-sera and many more.

Gabreal is also the founder of collective Wavyland, that throws parties in Sydney uniting hip hop artists and music lovers alike.

Championing a sound that falls into the spectrum of indie hip hop, Gabreal has an unstoppable vibe. His latest single chops down his life into one big song, he talks about heartbreaking events that happened in his life as child growing up being born in war with some of lyrics even getting him to shed a tear.

Gabreal speaks three different languages, Dinka, English, Luganda. He started making music as teenager after being inspired by his father who is a guitarist.
