Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, rapper JDOVE returns with a stunning new single ‘The Simplest’.

‘The Simplest’ is a recipe inspired by my personal life experiences. The idea would be to feed listeners with an audio version of simplicity, inspired by sophisticated cuisine or 'fine dining' in the culinary world.

This concept explains the reason for the chef's coat I'm wearing in the artwork, as well as the culinary punchlines you'll hear throughout the song.

JDOVE describes His musical upbringing as a "saturation" of Motown, Gospel and Hip-Hop music. Cece Winans, Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin were artists on heavy rotation. Given His parents Christian values; DOVE's personal playlist was under religious scrutiny, which inevitably enabled the young adventurist to explore more expansive art forms... in private.
