Modern Funkmaster John Parm Releases Self-Titled Debut EP

Having honed his skills over the past two decades as an in-demand beatmaker amongst the Belgian and French modern funk and hip hop scenes, John Parm is entering the new decade with an interstellar debut EP. The Brussels based modern funk producer steps out on his self-titled project released today, taking you on an intergalactic journey through four electrifying tracks.
 
Influenced by his background in as a break-dancer, John Parm’s productions are tinged with Westcoast hip hop, house and funk. Starting out under the name Turtle Master as part of Belgian label and collective Crab Boogie, John Parm went on to make beats for the young French speaking rap scene, producing for the likes of Caballero, Jeanjass and Lomepal. Now John Parm is focusing on the timelessness of funk and its presence in the current music landscape. This is only the beginning of a new era, please fasten your seat belt.
