Virginia-born R&B singer Marco McKinnis releases his debut EP 'Underground'.

'Underground' signifies Marco’s introduction to the music scene. The six-song project illuminates his hypnotic delivery, soulful vibe and penchant for love. The project kicks off with the sonically powerful track “Still Waters” which sets the mood for the entire EP.

It then transitions into 'Silence', a soulful ballad that finds Marco apologising to a lover for past transgressions. The project continues with the leading single “CPR” whichPigeons & Planes commented on --saying, “Marco is making classic leaning R&B, and his wonderfully soulful voice is his best asset- rich, full and instantly engaging on CPR.” The single is followed by “Unwind”, “Another Love” and closes with “Temperature” -- a sensual love song with captivating production.

Marco has quietly risen to the forefront of R&B’s buzzing new vanguard. He stood out as the only feature onRex Orange County’s universally lauded Apricot Princess, and he lent his powerhouse voice to two anthems from Big Wave More Fire by electronic duo DJDS—known for their production on Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo.
