Ramu releases debut melodic beat-tape album 'Planet Utopia (HGR007)'
Ramu delivers 17 cuts of melodic hip hop instrumentals in his debut album 'Planet Utopia, (HGR007)' which intertwines with atmospheric interludes for Honey Glazed Records in Bristol.
The use of both analogue hardware and sampling records results in a bittersweet journey filled with dusty grooves, tape warps and off kilter, psychedelic loops.
This is Ramu’s debut album and has gained support with plays by esteemed DJ’s on world renowned radio shows - with Tom Ravenscroft and Nemone both playing cuts on their BBC 6 music shows.
