Lisa Dawn Miller Rings In The Holiday Season With "My Favorite Time Of Year" EP

Singer-songwriter Lisa Dawn Miller, renowned for her captivating performances and her family's rich musical legacy, is spreading holiday cheer with the release of her new EP, "My Favorite Time of Year." This heartfelt collection of original holiday songs and a special tribute to her father, legendary songwriter Ron Miller, is poised to become a festive staple this holiday season.

Following the resounding success of her recent show, "For Once in My Life – The Songs of Ron Miller," which premiered at the iconic 54 Below in New York City, Lisa Dawn Miller continues to enchant audiences with her exceptional talent and unwavering commitment to music.

"My Favorite Time of Year" EP features a diverse range of holiday tunes, each designed to capture the essence of the season. The title track, "My Favorite Time of Year," is an uplifting anthem that celebrates the joy and magic of the holidays. "We'll Always Have Christmas Eve" beautifully explores the nostalgic power of cherished memories.

One of the EP's most touching moments is "A Miracle," a song Lisa co-wrote with producer and songwriter Mark Matson. Inspired by her niece, Angelique, who is disabled, the track is a testament to the resilience and power of the human spirit.

Lisa also pays homage to the historical significance of the holiday season with "A Christmas Truce," a hauntingly beautiful ballad that commemorates the unofficial ceasefires during World War I. "It's Christmas" radiates the excitement and warmth shared during this special time, while "A New Year" encourages us all to look forward to the future.

In a poignant rendition of her father's classic, "Someday at Christmas," Lisa Dawn Miller adds her own unique touch, infusing the song with a powerful reflection on today's tumultuous world.

Lisa Dawn Miller shares her thoughts on this special release: "With all the discord and unrest in the world, coming together, if we are so blessed, to share special moments is more important and profound than ever. I hope my music can bring love and joy."

Lisa's recent success extends beyond her new EP. On October 8, she premiered her show, "For Once in My Life – The Songs of Ron Miller," to critical acclaim at 54 Below in New York City. A show that received rave reviews and featured special guests, including comedian/actor Sandy Hackett, composer Bryan Wells, and Broadway sensation Major Attaway. Lisa's son and Ron's grandson, Oliver Richman, delivered a show-stopping performance of Ron's iconic hit, "For Once in My Life." Following this successful premiere, Lisa plans to tour the new show throughout the U.S. in performing arts venues during the 2024-2025 season. She is also well-known for her role as "Frank's One Love" in the critically acclaimed musical "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack," which is currently in its 14th season.

In addition to her music career, Lisa produces and directs the musical comedy "My Buddy" and runs her own music publishing company, LDM Worldwide, and record label, J-Wall Records. She is also the managing partner of the Ron Miller Legacy Songtrust, the Aurora Miller Legacy Songtrust, and the Ron Miller Songbook.

Fans of Lisa Dawn Miller will be delighted to know that she is set to release new singles, including "I've Been to Paradise," an EDM dance record, and "There You Are," a touching ballad about love and loss.
