What do you want people to take away from your music?

I’m beyond excited. The album is out, student of the game. I'd like for people to a listen and be entertained, this project is a solid listen, front to back laced with good game. I sprinkled some educational fun facts, some humour. Perhaps the listener can recognize my originality and skill set delivered on this particular body of work and become fans.

What inspired your latest release?

I wanted to pop my corn and spill my sauce. (laughs). Talk my shit and be my age, myself staying in my lane and showcasing material that had substance..

Your music is quite organic, how did you find your sound?

I’m from Dayton Ohio the land of the funk and home of Roger Troutman and Zapp, Shirley Murdock and the Ohio players. We got our own take and style of music. It really wasn't hard being myself, I don't sound like the person above or below me in your playlist. My confidence is mine. My voice. my cadence, my wordplay. Mine. My view of what a album should consist of, I did me . My contribution to hop hop as seen by me.

What's the most important lesson you learnt in life/music?

Great question. Thanks again for the exposure and opportunity to share my insight. I would have to say persistence and the ability to embrace moments and embody the assumption. I wanted to break a record and garner some buzz. That's all cool until the record break and it's a buzz. Now what? Who am I then? Where's my confidence? This is my moment. Am I disturbed or intimidated by the momentum? I'm learning I got to be faithful to the assumption, to win and lose with grace and step outside the ego and keep reaching for greater.

What stimulates your soul?

I find music stimulating and therapeutic, I've found creative expression incredibly satisfying and rewarding.
