Only a few years ago, Tohi was the target of Iran’s strict regime, his involvement as one of the pioneers of the burgeoning rap music scene in the country marking him out as a revolutionary.

In order to protect himself from the authorities, he fled to Dubai where he honed his skills as a performer, writer and producer, his songs achieving huge success in the region, leading to ten number one hits. His success transferred to the live arena where he has performed at The O2 Forum in London, The Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg and the Global Arena in Stockholm, winning two awards at the BAMA Music Awards in Germany in 2016 and 2017 for Best R&B/Hip Hop act.

His latest release, ‘Out The Box’ written and produced with his team in London, showcases Tohi’s skills in combining R&B, Trap and Hip Hop, a formula which has already captured the imaginations of his five million social media followers. Featuring superstar violinist Ezinma (who has previously collaborated with Beyoncé, Clean Bandit and Mac Miller) throughout the track, as well as featuring in the dazzling video directed by AZ Filmz.
